This is my first time posting. I don’t have any children yet but we’re going to start trying in the next couple of months.
Anyway, here goes! (I hope this is posted in the correct place if there is one!)
just found out I have 3 large Hemorrhoids due to constipation and constant straining (I’m not aware that I’m straining as I’ve been suffering for so long!)
It’s been a tough few weeks but they want to band them up. When I’ve spoken to people close to me they’ve said it’s normally pregnant people who get Hemorrhoids or someone ‘older’
I didn’t take much notice but it’s suddenly dawned on me that I’m hoping to be pregnant within the next year and would this be a problem for the Hemorrhoids I currently have? I’m seeing my surgeon again in a couple of weeks so I can ask the question, but I’d just like to know of any of you ladies that have experienced Hemorrhoids before pregnancy and if everything was ok?
I’m so sorry if this is TMO or not relevant to the forums, just seeking some advice I guess!
