I had a growth scan at 34+5 on the 14th Feb after the midwife measured me slightly small, Was told she is a little small but all is okay no more growth scans needed.

Not been measured since until my consultant app yesterday... 37+2 where I have measured below the 10th centile line. Consultant wants me in for a scan on Friday... she didn’t want to wait until next week as showing no growth for 3 weeks.
Should I be worried ? Has anyone else had the same situation ?

Don't stress yourself out worrying too much - whatever happens you're now classed as term so even if they want to induce you, you should be absolutely fine. The scan on Friday will show a more accurate idea of what's going on as fundal height measurements are notoriously subjective. You may find that Friday's scan shows normal growth in-line with the previous scanSmile and if it doesn't, like I said, you're term now so baby would be safe to come out. Your consultant will be able to explain everything in more detail. Just keep an eye on baby's movements and go into your maternity unit if you feel like they've slowed down or changed, even if you're still feeling some movement.

Same advice as pp, especially regarding movement. I would get his post take down though as it has all your personal details visible!

My daughters growth slowed right down at the end, I had extra scans to check placenta function and monitoring several times a week, then they induced when I was 39 weeks.
She was a perfectly healthy 6lbs4oz.
I hope all goes smoothly for you!

Thank you for the reply !
I'm also SO worried now because I have a heart defect & thought it could be that effecting her growth or that she has it too 😫.
Had an extra scan at 21 weeks to check her heart but was told they can only diagnose her 50% until she is here.
I feel like I'm being really paranoid now & if she hasn't moved much I'm panicking ! 😳

I don’t think the fundal height measurements are particularly accurate - measurements vary depending on who is measuring and the way baby is lying. I’ve only had one measurement fall within the lines, rest have been below 10th percentile but baby measures ok when scanned!
