Bleeding and cramping in early pregnancy

Hi,

I'm currently approx 4+5 weeks pregnant and have had 2 previous straight forward pregnancies. This morning I woke up to find I had passed a small amount of brown tinged discharge. I used a FRER test which showed positive but a Clearblue digital showed not pregnant. The bleeding has continued and is getting heavier although still only when I wipe (tmi sorry). The bleeding seems to be getting lighter in colour, more red now and I've passed a small clot. I have cramping which is travelling from front to back. I'm terrified I'm having a miscarriage.
I've made a GP appointment for this evening but just wanted to know if anyone had similar experiences please?

I’m really sorry this sounds like a chemical pregnancy. I hope I am wrong. I have had 3 and they are cruel and heartbreaking. Fingers crossed for you x

Agree this sounds like a chemical. I've also had 3 of these and symptoms were very similar.

Unfortunately it's just a case of waiting to see what happens xxx

Thanks ladies. The bleeding and cramping has gotten worse. GP confirmed it likely is an early miscarriage so am off work for a week to look after myself.
