Hi guys can anyone console me. I didn’t find out I was pregnant until 25weeks- pcos and overweight. I am worried sick as I’ve been drinking most weekends for the 25 weeks I didn’t know I was pregnant! At most a bottle of wine every Saturday night- never too drunk but definitely tipsy. I’m terrified my baby will have FAS. Has this happened to anyone else and have they had a healthy baby?

Im sure it’s happened to lots and lots of people - apparently half of pregnancies aren’t planned. There is also little to no evidence that light drinking harms the foetus.
Im sure your baby will be fine!

It happened to a friend’s sister, she found out around the same time as you. She’d been drinking heavily until she found out, and the baby was born perfectly healthy. He’s around 2 now.

I’m sure your baby will be fine xx

Watch "My Alcohol Addiction & Me" A mum drank heavily every single day with her first two sons and they were born healthy...There are obviously cases that are on the other side...But if it can rest your mind to know people have drank and had healthy babies...it definetely happens...i was worried as id drank heavily most weekends and found out i was pregnant...(Only 5 weeks) But i was still scared...Im sure everything will be fine.Good luck! And congratulations
