So as this my 3rd pg and its twins. We will need to change my car to a 7 seater.
Lots of research required.
I am already interested in the seat alhambra as it has boot space with all 7 seats in.
Can anyone recommend any others worth looking at? Need something with bootspace.

We don't have the 7 seater version but have a look at the citroen berlingo multi space.
We have one year old twins and lots of room in the back for both isofix seats and someone in the middle. The Picasso is also supposed to be good.
Pricier options are the Ford BMax
Sliding doors are a life saver when getting two car seats in and out so definitely put that on your list.
Also research what car seats fit in the back two seats, some don't fit and other cars don't fit them in the middle seat.
Sometimes the 6th + 7th seats use up your entire boot space.

Volvo XC90. I don’t know if you’re looking at new or second hand but if you don’t mind not having the new shape then the four-year-old models from the last of the old shape tend to be good value. It is very comfortable, even in the third row of seats - in some big cars the back seats feel very ‘wallowy’ and can make some people feel car sick.

Thanks for those suggestions, sliding doors defo good idea as 2 seats to be hoiked in and out. Ds is in high back booster sest, dd will be ready for group 1 i think by then.

We had 3 children under 3 and we have two large dogs. We got a Mercedes V Class. Best car I've ever had. It's easier to drive than you'd think and its comfortable. It seats 8 (you can get different configurations) and it's brilliant with the kids.

Make sure the middle seat is a full size seat. Very often it's a narrow one and it would be very hard to squeeze a car seat into it. Also check the car manual as to what car seats can be fitted into the rear seats. Very often it's only high backed boosters only. And you'll likely loose boot space so be aware for prams etc that take up a lot of room. We cannot fit ours in with back seats up

The hydundi I800 is quite nice.
I’ve been a nanny for 22 years and have driven them all.
Don’t touch the VW touran.
Loved the Citroen C8, the Seat Alhambra.
Have a Volvo , but not that much boot space with all the seats up.
Very time I buy a new car, I take all my car seats and make sure the6 fit properly.
Garages are actually very accommodating with this and understand the need for the children to be safe.

We have the Volvo XC90. It’s the only one that DP would drive, he turned his nose up at people carriers. It is one of the nicest looking tbf.

I have had loads of 7 seaters! I’m currently driving a VW caddy maxi and it’s by far my favourite! Big boot with all seats up and individual seats with plenty of room for everyone and sliding doors! I also liked the Volvo XC90 but the boot is tiny with all the seats up (as with most 7 seaters) I’ve had a seat Alhambra but I can’t rememeber too much about it tbh! All I can rememeber is that it was great for everyone to just jump in, and tbh as it was so ‘well loved’ I didn’t really care too much about it!
