Any tips on how to get rid of trapped wind? Have an awful pain in my stomach and up my sides due to trapped wind and it's so uncomfortable 🥵

Lie flat on floor and stretch your arms up
Over your head - ie really stretch out your torso. Fine to have kees bent if need be. Obvs dont do this if you have any injury etc.
Has worked for me.
Good luck.

Peppermint tea helps mine I get it nearly every night so a mug before bed really helps

I'll buy some of that tomorrow, it's so painful isn't it? Does it ease up eventually?x

Peppermint tea is amazing. I get trapped wind on and off even without being pregnant and its the only thing that works. I'm 34 weeks and still get it alot but thats not to say everyone does!

Peppermint tea works soo well. I suffered all the way through pregnancy but the peppermint tea was a life saver!

Only thing that works for me is Deflatine, made by Rennie - safe in pregnancy and works wonders.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I still suffer at 38 weeks but it did ease off in the second trimester and then came back with a vengeance these last few weeks.

I had a whole weekend of it and it was so very very painful!!

I found peppermint tea for the symptoms and fennel tea to relax my digestive system.

You can take deflatine from Rennie's (despite what the pharmacist said!) and gentle movement helped.

Also a hot water bottle helped relieve the pain!

I am now very careful to eat a lot of fibre and not eat a lot of acidic food as it's what seemed to trigger it!

Oh god alive I feel awful. It's so uncomfortable I can't sleep or eat etc. I just don't want to do anything xx
