Hey all just wondering if I could get some advice as my hospital is awful and make me feel like an idiot any time I call them! :(

For the last 2 weeks I’ve had cramping pains under my bump, top of my bump and also spreads to the sides of my lower back. I’ve been really sore down there it just feels hard swollen and sore (TMI sorry!!) I’ve been feeling so dizzy even though I been drinking loads, and even after I’ve eaten.

I haven’t slept properly in ages as I’m always waking up due to the pain or because I need to go bathroom.

I’ve not had much discharge For couple weeks apart from on and off thick white creamy clumps.

The pain is depressing me! I’m not able to sit for long, able to socialise. I’m constantly going to bed even though it doesn’t make the pain go away, but just makes it a little more bareable?

Let me know if anyone has experienced this as I don’t want to call the hospital if it’s common. Because they’re so horrible to me.

I think you know you need to get this checked.

Hopefully it’s nothing and they’ll be able to check you over and reassure you, but if it does need treatment you’d regret not calling because you felt a bit stupid. Have you got a midwife you can contact directly?

I had funny pains at the top of my bump, some nausea and migraines at the end of my pregnancy , but because my blood pressure had been checked I didn’t thing anything was really wrong. I went in for reduced movements monitoring a few days later, and DS was delivered within the hour. Apparently my placenta was failing and he was unresponsive. He’s fine now. I don’t like to think about what would’ve happened if I hadn’t gone in, but also wish I’d taken my earlier symptoms more seriously.

I know that’s not the answer you want but I now really don’t think you can be too careful with these things.

Hope someone can give you some reassurance and something for the pain, and you have a restful few weeks before LO arrives! BrewCake

Ahh I’m so glad your little ones ok and nothing serious happened! It’s so scary not knowing what’s going on inside the body 😩

I’ve got my community midwives that I speak to, they’re usually really helpful. It’s just the hospital because I’ve had such a bad pregnancy with pains/itching and all results come back fine now whenever I go in now they just think I’m being dramatic and they literally just take my blood pressure monitor the baby and send me home. They don’t bother doing many checks now. The consultant really doesn’t like me! Lol 😂 I had itching for months and had to get monitored a lot and because I’d have to keep seeing her and results were fine she’s get annoyed with me coming in but it wasn’t my choice I’d keep being told to come back until the itching stopped 😩
