Krakow salt mines when pregnant?

Has anyone been to the salt mines in krakow? We are visiting in a few weeks, I will be 13 weeks pregnant by then and just wondering if it’s safe? Thanks in advance

I’ve been there while not pregnant (it’s brilliant!) & struggling to think what could make it not safe. Just watch your step on stairs?!

What would make it unsafe I don’t understand?

I’ve no idea, I’ve never been! Lol. But when I was reading about it on trip advisor someone wrote they wouldn’t advise for pregnant ladies, maybe it’s just all the steps? In which case I would be fine at 14 weeks!

I've been. It's very deep underground, the mines are very big, so once you are down there you are there for a good few hours. Lots of stairs (although I don't remember any ladders), and while it isn't somewhere you need hard hats for it can be a bit rocky underfoot. It's up to you how much walking you feel up to at 13 weeks. There are facilities down there though (toilets and a cafe halfway round) so you could at least get a rest.

It was a while since Ive gone but I’ve had a look at my photos to see if there was anything obvious and nothing stood out. It just seems very deep and a lot of stairs. I’ve also got a picture of a lift shaft that I don’t think I’d fancy if I was very pregnant but can’t remember if you had to use it or not. I did go to a mine (I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the krakow one) that needed slides to enter so it might be worth just double checking whether you need to use any slides and ladders just in case.
