Would Clearblue detect 3+ ever if I had a very early miscarriage?

I found out last Tuesday that I was pregnant, I initially tested 2 first responses and then in the evening a clear blue digital. All positive and the clear blue read 3+ weeks. Being in shock, I tested again Thursday (still bfp) and then a clear blue this morning (Sunday), which again showed 3+.
So this would be my first, and I'm just panicking a little - I last bled 7 weeks ago, but it was a strange 4 day period, and 7 days prior I had very light spotting for 1 day.
So my question is, could it have been a chemical pregnancy 7 weeks ago or implantion? - And if I had lost the baby it was would a clear blue still be showing 3+ ?

Sorry for the stupidly long question, I'm just in shock still and panicking with all the googling I'm doing

Can't comment on if the previous bleed was anything other than af (only a pregnancy test done at the time could tell). You definitely would not be 5+ weeks pregnant (which is what 3+ means) on the test if you'd had a very early miscarriage 7 weeks ago.

With chemical pregnancies, it's very rare to have a positive test after the bleeding has stopped.

I had a miscarriage between 5 and 6 weeks and I never got more than 1-2 on a digital so fx ❤️ Xx

My first chemical never got past 1-2 weeks on the digital. If you are concerned, wait a week and try again. And start folic acid if you haven't already!

Sorry to hear that both. Thank you for your responses xx
I think I'm just freaking out from all the googling, and it still doesn't feel real yet, so I'm trying not to get too excited just incase x

3+ is the maximum the test goes up to so you are at least 5 weeks pregnant. A chemical doesn't generally show on test after your period as the fertilised egg will have gone and therefore not be releasing hormones anymore.

I had a really odd, short and light period almost 5 weeks ago and am also coming up as 3+. I think I may have already been pregnant and the bleeding wasn't a proper period. Was so light compare to normal.

I'm afraid it's just a case of waiting till you have your scan. If the midwife is concerned at your booking appointment she will refer you for an early scan. There is no reason to think anything has gone wrong though if you have not had any other bleeding or severe cramps.
