I’ve just found out I’m about 7 weeks with me second unplanned! My LO is 1 at the end of the month.

Is anyone else going to have their second with a small age gap? How do you feel about it? Flowers

I have a 14 month age gap. 1st baby ICSI 2nd baby a complete shock. It was hard work for 6 months but everyone adapted and now they are 2 & 3 and it’s brilliant.

I have a 10 month age gap between my 2 boys. One born January 2014, the other November 2014, so Irish twins 😆. The first few months were pretty exhausting as i dont have much help, and my OH is a farmer so pretty much works every hour god sends. I actually found having a new born at the same time as having horrendous morning sickness was worse than 2 babies. The payoff is so worth it. My 2 are the best of friends, do everything together and it's just a pleasure to watch. They are exactly the same size now and look extremely similar so are always assumed to be twins. I don't have to look for playmates so much in school holidays because they have each other and they are into the same toys etc. They have adventures together on holiday, Christmas is so exciting and they draw confidence from each other. I keep telling them that they don't realise how lucky they are. I'm obviously biased but our second happy mistake baby turned out to be the best thing ever. There will be times when you have to dig deep but it will be so worth it. Good luck 💐💜

I have a 12 month gap between DC1 and DC2 and some days were understandably harder than others, but as a whole, I got through it by telling myself that it was better to get the sleepless night and the nappies done and out of the way, rather than wait until DC1 was at school and things were back to 'normal' then plummeting back to the newborn stage.

Pregnant again now and will have 3 under 3 when this one arrives! Again, telling myself that while it will be difficult, the three of them will grow up so close and in a few years, they'll all be in nursery/school and things will slowly start to get easier.

I don't personally feel that having them close in age is as rough as some people make out. I'm by no means a supermum and frequently 'hide' in the bathroom for a few minutes peace Grin my motto is 'if we make it until Daddy is home and we're all still breathing, then we did well'.

Im due my second in 3 weeks and my son turns 1 this week, so just over a years age gap!! Bricking it lol! But also excited and drawing more positives out of it than being anxious at how we will manage.
No doubt it will be hard but surely it is no matter what the age gap?
Someone said to me why walk through fire when you can run through it lol, so I am really glad and feel blessed that we're having kids this close together.
