I'm almost 9 weeks and I have no symptoms, apart from tiredness, headaches and feeling a lot hungrier. Is this normal?

At the start I had sore boobs but even that has gone.

With my daughters I had horrible morning sickness from 6 weeks that lasted 10 weeks, it was horrific and I'm so glad I don't have, but is that a good thing?

I don't have my first scan for another 2 weeks should I be worried? Or has anyone ever gone through something similar where pregnancies have been different?

I didn't have any symptoms with my first apart from a bout of sickness for about 20 mins at week 11. Being my first I didn't know any difference and didn't worry about it. Probably my easiest pregnancy.

I’m the same chocolatelog! I only had heavy boobs, slightly tired and no nausea or sickness but so hungry!! I’m now 10 weeks and the only think that’s got slightly more intense is the fatigue like I wake up most mornings feeling like I have a hangover and I’m getting some light headaches too. We are just extremely lucky xxx

I had zero symptoms pretty much the whole way through. I didn't even get the ones you've listed!

Slightly bloated for about a week when I was way past 12 weeks and all was absolutely fine!

chocolatelog · 03/03/2019 12:27

Thanks that's reassured me a bit. Hopefully everything is ok and I should just feel lucky that I'm not experiencing all the nastiness of the first trimester 😊 dh said it could be a sign that it's a boy, because it's so different this time around from my daughters.

I had every symptom going with my DS’s and nothing at all with my DD’s.

Saydz92 · 04/03/2019 17:19

Hi. I’m
9 and a half weeks pregnant and the only symptoms
I have are sore boobs and I’m alwags tired.
I had morning sickness start about 3 weeks ago which lasted a week and a half but even that has stopped and I’ve not felt sick in over a week just hungry !! I also wondered if it was normal but I’ve spoken to my midwife and the early pregnancy unit and they’ve said it’s normal and some women just don’t have many symptoms and if they do it might happen way later on x

CRobinson12 · 04/03/2019 20:39

The only symptom i had was tiredness and I'm now 26 weeks, try not to worry i was googling like crazy every day.. and i am having a boy! X

jadeyfly · 04/03/2019 20:43

I had no symptoms until my first missed period at 30 weeks-gave birth 2 weeks later

InDubiousBattle · 04/03/2019 20:49

With d's (first baby)I had no symptoms except tiredness, and even that wasn't bad really. Even in the third trimester I wouldn't have known I was pregnant unless I looked down! With dd I was nauseous all day from 4-12 weeks , felt dreadful, sore boobs, sore back, exhausted all of the time. Felt like shit until the day she was born!

chocolatelog · 05/03/2019 17:16

Thank you all, I've got an early scan tomorrow because the few symptoms I did have have disappeared, pregnancy test today confirmed I'm still pregnant but doctor referred me just to put my mind at ease.

Maybe I was feeling the same as you. I couldn’t stop thinking about being pregnant, and every time my symptoms eased off/vanished for a few days I started to panic that I wasn’t pregnant any more. I’m 22 weeks now and everything’s fine. It’s good that you’ve got in contact with the doctors to put your mind at ease.

Newtoallofthis2019 · 07/03/2019 18:27

I’m 26 weeks today and through my whole pregnancy I’ve pretty much had no symptoms - other than my growing bump!! Was a bit tired the first few months but nothing that stopped me going about my day to day! Apparently 30% of women (googled it numerous times) don’t have symptoms - I’ve often been worried it meant something was wrong but from everything I’ve read it’s really just your luck...!!

Seniorschoolmum · 07/03/2019 18:33

nothing at all, until I started getting round at about 22 weeks.
I’d previously been told I couldn’t have dcs so I didn’t really believe it until the ultrasound screen at 20 weeks.

The only problem I had was at about 35 weeks, I commuted into docklands from Oxford and my ankles swelled up.

chocolatelog · 07/03/2019 18:38

Thanks everyone. I had an early scan yesterday and it showed an empty sac at 6+5 I'm being re scanned next week but it doesn't look promising. Got awful cramps and brown bleeding 😔

@chocolatelog how are you now? What was the outcome? Have been thinking of you.

snowone · 15/03/2019 07:44

Me! Pretty much with both of my pregnancies - apart from sore boobs and the beginning and heartburn from about 16 weeks. Both girls Grin

snowone · 15/03/2019 07:45

Sorry OP - didn't read all of the posts 😢

chocolatelog · 15/03/2019 07:48

@honorariam it wasn't good news. Sac was still empty so I'm booked in Monday for the op to remove the pregnancy.
