40 weeks + 2 early labour signs?

Hello!
I'm 40 weeks + 2 and feeling very impatient - mainly because I've hardly slept for days and I'm having lots of pains.
Was just wondering if I'm experiencing signs of early labour?
I've had period-like cramps almost constantly for the last 4 days and have had a lot of braxton hicks. Also waves of nausea are hitting me every now and again for the last 4 days. I've also had lots of leg cramps and some bad mood swings like I haven't experienced before (maybe the severe lack of sleep is a factor though). And last night I seemed to be slowly leaking fluid for hours (I kept going to the loo to make sure it wasn't urine and I'm confident it was fluid) but the fluid leak seems to now have stopped...

I'm hoping all the cramping and BH are a good sign that things might start soon? ConfusedHmm

Thanks xx

Have you rung triage if you think your waters have gone? You’re normally on a clock once they have broken due to increased risk of infection.

The leakage sounds like your waters breaking. You ought to call the hospital. They'll probably tell you to go in.
Good luck! You're about to become a mum! Thanks

Thank you for your replies! I'm hoping this is the start... Smile
Also had a bad tummy this morning.
I'm hoping the end is near haha

Did anyone else have these signs soon before labour started?

I rang the hospital and they have asked me to monitor the waters a bit more then call them back to see if it's necessary for me to go in.Confused

Thanks for the help x
