So, I’m pretty sure I AM pregnant as I’ve missed my period and my lines are 100% getting darker!

Hi op. I can just about make out the lines but would expect them to be much darker if your period is already late. When were you due on?

SophiaEstepanian · 03/03/2019 03:58

@maxiflump1 I've spoken to my mum (who works in a hospital and knows a lot about pregnancy) and she said through her 6 pregnancies she kept getting very faint positives until the 3-4th month, I'll just wait it out!! Ahhh

Gosh that sounds stressful! Maybe try and clear blue digital? Good luck and hope you don't have to wait too long to find out!

Rtmhwales · 03/03/2019 05:14

When was your period due? I'd try a FRER and hope for a more clear response. I can only see a very faint line in the first picture.

ContadoraExplorer · 03/03/2019 06:25

Buy a FRER, I had a pretty strong line when I tested on one whilst it took another 6/7 days to get any line on the IC's I had.

VenusStarr · 03/03/2019 08:46

Personally I wouldn't be convinced by those lines, some look too thin and I can't make out the colour. Get a frer, I got a strong positive the day my period was due. Perhaps you ovulated later this month and that's why you're not getting a clear result.

Fingers crossed 🤞

Cosmogirl86 · 03/03/2019 10:37

I'm not convinced either. I hope you get the result you want! Try the first response

Gobletoffire · 03/03/2019 10:40

Hmm I’m not sure about those lines, they’re very faint and thin. As suggested above I would try a First Response early result test. I never got strong positives on the cheaper tests you’re using but if your period is due/late then a First Response test should give you your answer. Good luck x

Hi OP, some on the types of test you show don't have as much dye in as they used to (keeping costs down I imagine) mine too were as light as yours, and after a previous pregnancy I worried it wasn't dark enough. I bought a First Response Rapid Result, and the test line was darker than the control line! I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant. Looks positive to me, congratulations. Thanks
