Im 13 week pregnant and absolutley full of a cold which is flooring me! Aching body, migraine, sore throat the lot. Also have a 3yr ds so im really struggling. Any advice on what i can take to help, apart from paracetamol as they arnt helping at all! Are lemsips allowed? Or flu powders? I have googled but getting mixed answers.

Absolute crap advise as I only took paracetamol but the old honey/lemon & hot water is a great decongestant. Keeping warm, rest, rest, rest.
If you are able to, see if you can call on a family member, even if for a few hours for little one. It will do you no end of good for the break

Lemsip has a decongestant which narrows blood vessels which is why it's not recommended in pregnancy, likewise sudafed etc. Basically anything with phenylephrine is a nono. Honey and lemon with hot water, steam to relieve the congestion, paracetamol, plenty of fluids, rest and make sure you're taking your vitamins. It's really crappy but there isn't much more you can do. I had a stinking cold at about 16 weeks and I was miserable, so I get how you must be feeling!

The good stuff is all off limits Sad
Vicks vaporub and steamy showers helped me a bit, honey and lemon water can sod right off.

Try a neti pot to help unclog sinuses!

Oh no, i was really hoping there would be something a little stronger i could take to help. Honey and lemon it is! As for rest, theres no chance of that. Ds has a party to go to in an hour and i have nobody else available to take him for me. Hopefully it'll knacker him out and he has an early night so i can have one myself. Thanks everyone.
