Anyone vomit before bfp?

Hi all,

Did anyone vomit before bfp?

I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks at the end of January so I’ve no idea when I ovulated. Ovia says I’m on day 21 of my cycle according to when I bled for the miscarriage, but I know I got a bfn a week before the baby came away so that could of triggered ovulation early. We dtd every day or every other day between the end of my bleed and the end of my fertile window on Ovia (felt too pants since though)

I got dressed this morning, started going to work when I suddenly felt I was going to be sick. I was swiftly sick but it was literally 2 heaves and not as painful as when you vomit with a bug. That was an hour ago. I called in sick to work but now I feel pretty fine (hungry even!). I never had vomiting with my last pg, only nausea from week 4ish. Any ideas? Is it possible to get sickness before a bfp? I’d of thought if it’s enough to make you sick it’s enough to make a second line?

I’ve had pregnancy symptoms similar to my last pregnancy for a few days (erect nipples, discharge, sore tongue, tiredness, insomnia) and hence tested this morning with a FRER and got a bfn.

Thoughts? Stories? Tell me I’m not mad 😂

From what I understand it's not uncommon to fall pregnant very quickly after a miscarriage. I didn't get morning sickness until I was around 7 weeks and had no real symptoms before my BFP. I would do a test - fx for you.

First pg the nausea started 8 or 9 days before af was due. I had no idea I could be pg because I had no idea it could start so early on. By the time I got my bfp I was pretty much constantly very nauseous. Second time some nausea before af due. Third time 5 days before af due I nearly threw up at work. Very suddenly and out of nowhere. I just had a feeling and knew I was pg. But it completely varies between people, I’m on the very early side of things, most people often don’t have a trace of nausea until at least 5 weeks.

Btw second time around I was taking pg test after feeling these symptoms and it was negative until near af. This time I held off until a day before af due and it came up straight away as a clear positive. Some people don’t have a positive result until after af due. But having said that I don’t want to overexcite you as after my mc my hormones were all over the place.

Yup. Started vomiting 4 days before bfp continued til I give birth

Yes, every time.

Started vomiting a week before but didn't take a test until I was late. Still vomiting at 25 wks but much less (only once or twice a day 🙌)

Thank you for your replies :)

I’ve not been sick since. I ate constantly Saturday, and Sunday I was hungrier than usual ... but couldn’t finish my dinner (I’m a curvy girl, my DP couldn’t believe there was food left on my plate!). Quite nauseous this morning.

I cried at stupid things yesterday and I’m exhausted. Also insomnia is kicking my ass. Still bfn. Ovia says I am due AF on Friday.

I just want to know whether this is early pregnancy, or whether this is my hormones screwing me over after the miscarriage :(
