Sharp stabbing back pains - 4 weeks - help!

Hi ladies,

I only found out I'm pregnant yesterday (4 weeks) and today I had sharp stabbing pains in lower right side of my back along with mild pressure in the front, almost like early signs of my period. I've had no bleeding and the stabbing pulsating pains lasted about hour and have now gone.

What's going on? I've had 3 silent miscarriages in the past 2 years, but didn't get pulsing stabbing pains like this then, and am very worried! Anyone else been through this?

Any help/thoughts much appreciated. X

In the early stages, as everything stretches and grows, it's normal to get pains as nerves/muscle tissue/ligaments are getting moved about.
If you're concerned though, I'd speak to your gp for some advice.

@Mrsmummy90 thanks for the reassuring words! I feel fine today which is amazing, even my headache is subsiding... I'm hoping it was just ligaments and not anything sinister. Thanks again for the post x
