Was sat down to eat my dinner and suddenly had a really sharp pain in my lower stomach, it went on for a few minutes then passed. I am now having pain across the whole stomach from the bottom to top. I haven't felt any kicks yet at all so can't say if baby's in distress. Trying to figure out if this is normal or if I need to ring out of hours midwife office? It's not like keeling over in agony pain but it's definitely noticeable.

I'm 23 weeks and had similar pains this week but have felt baby move for a while so was just advised to check movements which ended up fine. The midwife said it was just everything stretching so perfectly normal.
I would say however that if you're worried, call and get it checked out. Always better to be safe and certainly better than worrying about it x

I had a similar pain across the under side of my bump a few times between 22-24 and as the OP said I was advised by the midwife that it was stretching pains. It was worse when I walked or stood up for a while. Midwife advised me to go home from work and have a warm bath and a rest!

That being said, you should definitely get checked out if you’re concerned / in pain - everyone’s experience of these things in pregnancy is different so it’s nice to get reassurance from your midwife 🙂
