Hello
I've got most things sorted ready for little on to arrive. I've got my paper pants and maternity pads.

Someone mentioned in passing using incontinence knickers. I'd like to try this as I have horrific periods and I'm dreading the initial bleed.

Has anyone used these and if so what brand?

I haven't used them yet, but if you go to the Tena website you can request a free sample - I was sent 2 pairs and a voucher for a free pack worth up to about £8 so worth a go to see if they suit you!

I used Kotex night time pads, you know the brick like ones? I had a bit of a system... 2 next to each other in the knicker gusset and one on top in the middle like a pyramid. No leaks, and as the days went on I only changed the top one every time I went to the toilet, all of them a few times a day.

Sounds like 14 year old me with a period! Smile

I'm getting on the tenna site now!

I've just bought a load of mothercare ones. Old school brick style for early days and thinner ones for later down the line.
