Hi all,

I'm nearly 37 weeks and had terrible.bractin hicks last night, they subsided after an hour or so but this morning am still really sore if I move in my lower abdomen and pelvis.

Not sure what to do.

TIA

Relax. Put your feet up. Have some paracetamol and a bath if you fancy it.

Ring triage if you're concerned.

It's very very normal to get braxton hicks at any stage in pregnancy - it's a practice workout for your uterus.

Thanks, I went the nurse today for my usual weekly BP check and said that I thought had Braxton hicks and since a lot of pelvis pain.

She said keep an eye on it and if it's get bad ring triage, just hurts when I move really, she said sounds like he's just bedding in and getting ready.

Lots of movements once I stop and sit down.

Be glad to finish work on Wednesday so I can relax

Could be pelvic girdle pain? I've had it since 11 weeks... it's a real bastard.
