Brown discharge with gestational diabetes

Hi all, I'm 37+3 today and have diet controlled gestational diabetes. I just went to the loo and saw that I have brown tinged discharge, it's quite fluid (sorry for the graphic description). I don't know if this is my mucous plug or bloody show or totally unrelated. I've had no vaginal exams or sex that could trigger it. We were told at the antenatal classes that of you have GD that you go to hospital at first sign of labour, but I have no other signs, no pain, so I'm wondering do I just sit it out for now and see what happens? Thanks in advance xx

My mucus plug started with what I thought was brown blood, took several days of it and an examination, before it actually came out! I was much earlier than that so it was less expected, hence the examination!

If you're worried call the assessment unit, they'll be the best to advise, unless you are starting to feel contractions or your waters go, I probably wouldn't class this as needing to rush to the maternity unit though, sadly you could still have ages!
