Hi again chunk! Didn't want to leave this unanswered.

I'm starting to get in the mood for relaxation now, feeling less down. I've found some good box sets - been watching 'miss fishers murder mysteries' and 'Shakespeare and hathaway', also knitting, lots of hypnobirthing practice, and daily afternoon naps (which helps me rest and kills time!). I've also been meeting with friends that are retired, and walking with my neighbour and her dog. I also walking to town (about 2.5 miles) and to midwife appointments (1.5 miles). How are you getting on generally? Feeling well? Have you had a good pregnancy?

Hello @LuckyKitty13 ! Wow you’re keeping really busy! Getting on fine in general, just all ready to go now! Pregnancy has gone well so far, I’ve just been very nervous and frightened to get excited. My first sweep is Monday! Hoping it encourages something! Looking at raspberry leaf tea at the moment, don’t know whether to try! How has your pregnancy been?

How many weeks are you now?
I've been taking raspberry leaf capsules since 33weeks - building up slowly, now taking 3 a day. It can't hurt, but think it works best as a slow build up preparing your uterus. Have you looked at hypnobirthing to help you relax? You can get the tracks for free on the mindful mamma website (Sophie fletcher)

I’m 38 so maybe too late for it to make much difference. Just wondered about maybe a couple of cups a day?

Hypnobirthing isn’t my thing. I’m pretty relaxed about giving birth. This will be my second and I loved childbirth with my first. It’s just in the back of my mind, Will she arrive safely? We had 2 miscarriages between my son and this pregnancy, just hard to believe this is going so well! X

Sorry I didn't understand properly. I'm so sorry about your losses. Those anxieties are absolutely valid. I'm sure you'll have a fantastic 2nd birth as your first went so well. Wishing you the very best of luck for it!
The tea won't do any harm so drink away! I'm also eating dates as there was a study to suggest that made labour come sooner/easier I think.

My pregnancy has gone well - too well almost! A little achy and heavy now I'm almost 38 weeks but other than that it's been a breeze. I'm sleeping a lot now, and spending a lot of time lay on my left side watching tv. But that's what my body seems to be wanting right now!

That’s ok, they weren’t meant to be. Just can’t wait to have this little one and my little boy in my arms, I’ll be the happiest momma in the world!

Oo not heard of dates helping, I love dates actually, might give those a try! Just had my sweep, she said the heads engaged, she’s quite low down and in a good position for birth! Fingers crossed it’ll give things a nudge along!

How you feeling? Enjoying some relaxation this afternoon while little boy is at nursery!!!
