Spotting 4+3

Im 4+3 so very early. I have had 2 mc before. I have started spotting. Its not huge amounts and its light in colour. I have a bit of mild backache but have had worse period pains. I'm just praying this is not another miscarriage. There's not much point in going to EPU because it's so early. So all I can do is wait it out I suppose. As much as lots of people say spotting is okay, I'm petrified and thinking the worst right now.

Probably not what you want to hear but this happened to me last month. It was a cp. you will know within the next 24hrs or so as your bleeding will increase. 😘

This could be your implantation bleed. I had spotting and bleeding throughout early pregnancy so try not to worry. Make sure you rest up and take it easy!

@poppet131 is it possible to have implantation bleeds after your positive pregnancy test?

@OhDiddums I had a very small light pink bleed around the same time,more then spotting, had a scan at 4+3 nothing had another at 5+3 baby with a heart beat! Ring GP ask them to send for blood tests check HCG and refer to EPU xx

@HJWT I will give them a call tomorrow. Although they usually won't refer you for an early scan where I live till you're 6 weeks. The doctors here tend to have a watch and wait approach. But definitely worth a try.

OhDiddums I feel your pain. I am 5 weeks 1 day and my first pregnancy at 39. I am constantly checking when I go to the loo and have had some slight changes over the last 3 days. Saw gp yesterday but last night had some slight spotting. Phoned gp again today and have been given an appointment next week for a scan as it will be 6 weeks then. Not sure if I am paranoid or going mad!? Just want to be sure I am doing everything right. Hope you are ok :)

@GigglePop79 it is horrible. The waiting is the worst. I'm keeping them crossed for both of us. Let me know how your scan goes. 🤞 💐

@OhDiddums did you call GP? They should at the very least do a blood test and repeat after 48 hours x

@HJWT I didn't manage to call them today. The spotting has eased off. So I'm just keeping them crossed. I can always call for an emergency appointment if it gets any worse.

How are you doing op?

@pitterpatterbaby I had some discharge yesterday that had the tiniest tinge of brown. Now just getting white discharge so I'm taking it as a positive. Just keeping them crossed that everything stays like this now.
