I'm twelve weeks tomorrow, the past few weeks my sickness has gotten worse.
I haven't been able to keep much down at all, not much liquids either. This morning i vomited up the parts of a smoothie in the shower.
I'm trying to drink some cold water with lemon and ginger.
I think the past few days I've had.... Maybe a litre of water? I haven't been urinating that often.
I just don't know if i need to go and try to get an iv or not?

I would call you midwife for advice

It does sound as if you could be dehydrated. I’d call your midwife and ask to get checked out. They may want you to go in to EPAU for assessment and rehydration or get May suggest going to the GP and getting something from them first.

I'm trying to get an afternoon appointment with my gp so they can hopefully test my urine and go from there.

How did you get on with getting an appointment @Parent19876? Hope you are feeling better today xx

@Rememberallball
Thank you for checking up on me.
I've been admitted to hospital today. They tried to give me an iv for fluids, but i have horrible veins so they've given me anti nausea injections and are just pushing fluids as much as possible.
But i feel so much better! I ate my first proper meal in weeks and have been able to keep it down, which hasn't happened since January!

Sorry to hear you’ve ended up in hospital but pleased your email getting sorted and managed to eat. Hopefully you won’t be there too long and can get home and on with life as normally as possible!!
