Did your second labour start the same as your first?

Just curious as my first labour started with feeling sick and period like pains. Just wondering if I should be looking out for the same symptoms.

Both started with my waters breaking but otherwise were very different.

My first started like yours, pains and nausea, then a gradual increase in the pains until full labour started . But second time around I had no pains but a big loss of mucous plug and shortly after, my waters broke. Still no pains so I went to hospital and they induced me. I think that just about anything is "normal" !

Don’t assume the second will be anything like the first! My births were so different may as well have been a different person.
