For the past two nights I've been up vomiting last night i had 7 bowel movements in the space of 2 hours. I slept from half 12 until 3am and since been up with vomiting and more bms.

I'm having start stop cramping past week with a very sore pain in my pelvis spd but feels very heavy with a muscle tightness wrapping around underneath my bum and to my pelvis. I also feel a burning sensation inbetween my thighs and around my pelvis.

I have no uti as got checked at hosp yesterday.

Does this sound like it could be slow labour its my 4th dc but can't remember how the rest started yesterday i was nesting quite a bit and baby had been quiet for a few days then yesterday at hospital wouldn't stay still for her trace.

The most movement me or the hospital have seen out of her lol x

Thanks im just feeling really tired now but still can't sleep

Sorry I’ve no idea but hope it resolves into your lovely baby soon!

Thank you me to even if for just a wee bit more sleep the nausea and vomiting are my usual due to hg but generally not at night.

I feel like I'm barely functioning haha i just want some sleep.

The way the pain is moving sounds like it could be the start of something. But I've found I get the same pain when I need to poo atm so it could be a reaction to the bowels clearing out. Hopefully it is early labour and not D&V!

Bowerbird5 · 28/02/2019 05:19

It could be. It sounds like you might be getting ready. Try propping up on lots of pillows to help the nausea. Peppermint tea might help or if you have either lemon and ginger tea or ginger ale slightly flat.
The trouble is it could also be a bug. The main thing is not to get dehydrated so lots of sips of liquid ...water or ginger ale.

Each of my four labours started differently. It could be baby’s head pushing further down causing bowel movements but combined with vomiting might well be a bug. What did the midwife say?

VioletGInPlease · 28/02/2019 07:59

Thanks ladies i managed to get another hour I'm still abit crampy on off going to go for a bath and see if that helps still feel nauseous and still having frequent bms.

Midwife doesn't think I've got long she's giving me a sweep on monday to try get things going.

So kind of hoping things go on there own.

Yeah the pain around my legs I'm not sure if it's baby or spd and I'm confused aswell if i have a bug or having a clear out.

I have hg and no anti sickness is touching it orally or iv unfortunately but had this with every pregnancy but the night thing us a new one.

Baby is also back to back so wondering if this is why my contractions won't start regularly but my scan shows fluid is reducing apparently this means baby is getting ready to make a appearance.

I have tried ginger biscuits just bringing them up but I'm making sure i keep sipping water.

Midwife says baby is very low but obviously it being my 4th baby's generally don't engage until last minute x

Still vomiting and had 4 bms since 8am this morning.

I've tried a slice of toaat and brought it back up extremley tired but tried to go for a sleep and can't.

I've been for a bath as feeling a bit of pressure down below only had a bit of yellowish thick discharge.

Just feel so done in now still getting pressure in bottom but bh have dissapeared.

Don't know what's going on

Water rich foods like watermelon and ice lollies are helpful to nibble on slowly and stop you getting dehydrated if you can keep it down. Even just sucking on ice helped me (even better if you squeeze some lemon in it).

Ruthio1983 · 28/02/2019 12:57

Have you called anyone since this morning? I’d be on the phone to triage if I was you. They’ll have you in for a check up if nothing else. It sounds blinking awful!

VioletGInPlease · 28/02/2019 13:23

I'm trying to keep up on drinking

Dp is away for ice lollies.
I've managed couple spoons of custard hoping that will stay down.

I've not phoned hospital as bh have stopped i think i don't know i just feel spacey and exhausted so don't want to waste there time.

I'm due into hospital tommorow morning for ctg and scan so if it doesn't get better im going to ask them to check and see if anything's happening down there.

I can't remember what my contractions felt like i know its silly but rvery know and then get some soreness in my pelvis and to the sides of my belly button but a wee bit further down.

Feeling some weird pains in the top of thigh when this comes on too but nothing that is making me think this is it my waters only broke with my first baby not with 2nd or 3rd no plug or anything so don't have anything to go on.

You wouldn’t be wasting their time. Even if it’s just a quick call. If BH have stopped, all the more reason to go i’d Say! You’ll never be wasting their time. I’ve just been discharged after two nights. I was having chronic headaches, only mentioned it in passing and they decided to keep me in for tests. Luckily it looks like it was hormones but they never made me feel like I was a time waster even if I get like I was!

VioletGInPlease · 28/02/2019 14:08

Yeah I'm going to give it until around 4 then go i think as getting pains around my thighs like a burning x

I've had to go into labour ward as started bleeding I'm having contractions but I'm not feeling them in my stomach but around my pelvis and bum and back.

I'm not sure if this is due to being back to back

I'm under consultant care for reduced movements but heart trace yesterday and today she's sitting at 180+ so there waiting for her to come down.

Just waiting on a dr to do a speculum to find out cause of bleeding and if contractions are doing anything.

So nervous I'm only 36.4.

They dipped my urine yesterday was fine today i have a infection. And as usual i have low iron.

Just can't wait for it all to be over and meet my little girl healthy xx

No idea but I'm glad you've gone in. I don't think 36 weeks is anything to be to afraid of. Remember you're in the right place and they will do whatever it takes to keep you both safe

Bobbiepin · 28/02/2019 17:47

You're only a couple of days off full term, baby will be fine. Any idea of the number you get to on the contraction monitor?
