Bump agony

I'm 33 + 3 and am in agony on top of my bump, around the middle m.

It started off as a stitch type pain about 6 weeks ago - it was sore and occasionally enough to take my breath away suddenly when she kicked there. Now it's whenever I move it hurts, I can't engage my muscles at all even sitting in the car is painful!

I have heard of separation of the wall muscles and think it may be this - but can't see any mention of pain anywhere.

Anyone else with a painful bump??

I’m 33 weeks too & my bump is feeling very uncomfortable and abit painful but not overly painful like yours. You have my sympathy! Have you spoken to your midwife about it? Or has this just suddenly started?

I’m all bump and it literally feels like there is no more room so when she kicks it does make me really jump now. I find baths helpful and currently sat in one at the moment for this exact reason.

Hi OP, I had a painful bump and my dd is now 19 months and when I touch the area that was painful my muscles in my stomach contract. I've always wondered if my nerves were stretched out or something as DD was in an odd position with her feet in my ribs. You could speak to your midwife or GP about it?
