Hi

Can you'd recommend the best pregnancy pillow to buy?

I think I just got a V shaped pillow off eBay (new obviously), wasn't expensive and is comfy

I've got a bbhug me pillow. It was pricey but it so comfortable and sleeping much better than my last pregnancy.

eBay is the best place to find one, there's no need to spend money on an expensive one.

Mine was £13 and it's great

I’ve just bought the BBHug me pillow, it’s arriving tomorrow so pretty excited to try it out. It’s expensive but can be used as a feeding pillow once the baby is born and you can buy an extra piece so it turns into a pillow for the baby to lie on.

The BBHugMe is the best (wince) £140 I have spent during my pregnancy. It makes sleep so much better for me. When I'm feeling really sore I sort of tie it round myself and use it to help me sit comfortably on the sofa. Love love love it.

I have to second the BBHugMe - I was really reluctant to buy as it’s so expensive but have had a lot of problems with my hips before pregnancy so sucked it up. It was money really well spent, incredibly comfortable, couldn’t sleep without it is in last trimester! Much more supportive than the other body pillow I tried (was a mamas and papas one)

I have PGP and have this. Not expensive!

Have the dream genii, still getting the hang of it... wake up in more pain than when I went to sleep at the moment! John Lewis person says it takes time to sort of break in, like a new mattress. 🙄

Teatreealoe · 28/02/2019 00:20

Definitely get one that comes with a cover, mine doesn't but is supposedly machine washable... However it's rubbish and has split in 2 places so i can't wash it :( I just put pillow cases on the ends! Mines kind of a c shaped pillow from amazon! It is comfy though!

Ive got a DreamGenii and I really like it!
Their instructions say to lay it into the position of a “7” and sleep on your left side, with the long bit at the front of you and the small bit at your back..
but I use it the other way round, as I sleep on the left side of our bed and felt like I had to struggle to climb over it to get out of bed!
I find it much comfier this way! That might change in later pregnancy though (28weeks at the moment)
You can use it as a feeding pillow too - but I might buy something smaller for that.
