Hi, hope you all well, I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks on 29th of Jan which was devestating especially since it was my first pregnancy and very much wanted. Bleeding stopped around 5th of Feb and we were given the go ahead to try again. A week after this I got my first period since miscarrisge. I had a scan today to see if everything was okay and I was told my left ovary would be ovulating in just under a weeks time. They told me my lining was 6mm which apparently is normal. I just wondered if any of you could share your. Experiences and if you know about whether 6mm is a good place to be when I will be ovulating in the next 3-7 days. Thanks xx

I had ivf. They check lining through the cycle with ivf. 6mm that far out from ov is fantastic! Above 7mm at ov is what they are aiming for, but you've still got a couple days, and remember for an ivf cycle there is so much riding on it, they don't proceed unless conditions are absolutely primed.

Sorry for your loss. They are awful!!

Can I ask, do you know how much thenlining can potentially thicken by each day or is it something where every few days it gets bigger...it’s day 15 of my cycle and I’m usually 31-34 days so ovulation should be next week POSs end this week. Thanks x
