Lying down too much?

I am currently 21 weeks pregnant and I spend an hour or 2 walking everyday, when I come home I'm often tired out and have been spending my free time in bed watching tv. Is lying down too much harmful, would it be better if I sat up?

They say lying on your back isn't great with regards to blood flow but lying on your side is fine.
I personally spent all night every night until about week 36 on my back and all of my scans (there have been many) have shown perfect blood flow.
Lots of women have to go on bed rest for many reasons so surely not harmful right!

Whatever's most comfortable for you. I couldn't lie on my back because the weight of the baby lying on me was too uncomfortable. Preferred to be on my side with a pillow under the bump.

Try sitting on a ball to see if that’s comfy too as that can also help baby get into head down position
