Hi ladies. Just wondered if anyone else is due in May and wanted to join my impatience / excitement / moaning / worrying as we battle the third trimester? Smile

Hi! I am :) due date 23/05/19! How are you getting on?

Eliza1986 · 26/02/2019 14:09

Aside from a rubbish head cold, I don't feel too bad at the moment. 28 weeks today, due 21/05/19 with DC2. I could start complaining about lack of sleep, heartburn, weight gain, and restless legs... but I'd be here all day ;) How are you?

I am - due the 7th! getting big now

Eliza1986 · 26/02/2019 14:32

Hi @Twinningsloverbutnotanymore I know the feeling!! I feel huge and was asked yesterday "so when is it you go off, next week?"... they looked shocked when I said I wasn't due for another 12!

Due may 23rd🙂 really doing pretty ok al things considered but just tired ALL of the time and I feel so useless and lazy and was being a bit hard on myself but think it’s juat all part of the deal when your growing another human!!

Eliza1986 · 26/02/2019 15:11

I feel ya @Lorrie3 - tired but thinking I should be doing more. Yet you're absolutely right, growing an actual human being is quite tiring in itself really!! Hands up who'd love to switch with their OH every now and again, just for a peaceful nights sleep if nothing else! Not taking away from the joy of it all of course Smile

DD Twins @Lorrie3 ! Congrats all. I feel like I could have written that post @Eliza1986 ditto with all those. Also having coxis pain, oh the joy! Could be having it a lot worse I suppose is all i keep thinking! Does everyone know what they are having?

Lorrie3 · 26/02/2019 15:15

Yay @spanner91👍
Yeah I’m generally a very active person and always doing or at something so I’m just hopeless at ‘slowing down’ but think I just need to get used to it! We don’t know what we’re having kept it a surprise, common enough in Ireland

Eliza1986 · 26/02/2019 15:16

@Spanner91 I had to find out, I'm a control freak! Private scan at 17 weeks - sonographer whispered it to our daughter (aged 4) and asked her to tell us. Well she wanted a sister, so when they said boy, her head went down and her eyes filled up!! She's since come around to the idea, purely based on the notion that he's less likely to want to play with her barbies and ponies (he may of course love her toys, but I haven't broken that to her yet 🤭)

Me, but there's already a thread! It's pretty quiet because there's also a FB group. I think it's @surfingowl who can invite you to the FB group if you're interested.

Spanner91 · 26/02/2019 15:28

I'm happy to be added to the Facebook group.
Aww bless her @Eliza1986 ! We're having a little girl. DH was sure it was a boy and even started naming 'him' a boys name Grin he's happy now it's sunk in though!

Eliza1986 · 26/02/2019 15:34

I don't have a Facebook account but thank you for the info 👍🏻
I did look for another thread before starting this one but couldn't find any. Mainly October / November ones

Hello! I'm due 12th May, apart from some back ache and tiredness I'm feeling pretty good and getting so excited to meet our little boy Smile

Eliza1986 · 26/02/2019 21:18

Hi @prettycrabby
Glad to hear you're feeling well. If you don't have heartburn then I have serious envy. I think I need gaviscon on tap!!

Are you like me and seeing big jiggling movements across your bump? This boy is seriously active... all the time... which makes me think he may never sleep 🤔

OP posts:
jcmayj · 28/02/2019 01:20

Due may 11th and really getting quite uncomfortable now. Bump seems to have grown too in the last couple days!!

Pancakes7 · 16/03/2019 08:58

Hi Everyone, Can I join? I'm due our baby boy, our first 20th May. So I'm 30 weeks and 5 days today. I'm married, from Kent. Suffering with PGP. So excited to meet our little man!! 💙🤰🏼👶🏼

proteacat · 18/03/2019 13:37

I am also due 23 May! So excited to meet her. Would also love to join the fb group if poss?

jane226 · 18/03/2019 13:49

Hello ladies!

I am also expecting in May 2019 ♥️ It is a girl and she is due to come to this world on 2 May, not long now :)

Apart from this terrible cold, which already exhausted me completely, I have some back pain and indigestion. Perfect cure for indigestion is Omeprazole, the only thing that saved me from throwing up every night lol 😁

Eliza1986 · 18/03/2019 14:13

I keep getting shocking head colds too. My immune system is rock bottom at the minute. Off for whooping cough jab later... anyone has this / had any side effects?

OP posts:
proteacat · 18/03/2019 14:19

I had whooping cough and flu jabs back in December as I was advised to have them at 16 weeks. No side effects apart from achy arms!

Eliza1419 · 23/03/2019 09:38

Is anyone moving from excited to just plain fed up now?? Almost 32 weeks and I feel like this last bit is going to take forever!!

SpannerH · 23/03/2019 13:46

Yes! Got PSD and in so much pain from walking round a garden centre this morning but people either think I'm making it up or don't understand. Now DH is annoyed because he wanted me to hover and 2ash cars while he did some manual work. I can't bring myself to get up. Heartburn radiating through me and struggling to sleep. 8 weeks to go Hmm

Sevencatsandcounting · 23/03/2019 14:09

Hi everyone! Due May 30th with a girl and counting down the weeks already 😂. Also feeling rather useless but still plan on resting as much as possible this weekend!

Eliza1419 · 23/03/2019 14:20

I feel ya! I don't want to do much, but I'm bored at the same time. Got DD's birthday party tomorrow so that should cure the boredom. 23 kids!! What was I thinking?!

Sevencatsandcounting · 23/03/2019 15:13

23? Omg you are very brave! I hear you though, the boredom is awful. Feel like the next few weeks will drag so much!
