Hi

I am wondering if anyone else is on Quetiapine whilst pregnant. I came off it during the first three months as advised. I am going back on it but a little apprehensive. I am only on 25mg. I am just wondering anyone else's experience. They say if you need to then do.

Also, when the baby is here - what is your experience? Bc they knock you out all night so what about night feeds?

Many thanks

Defo ask your doctor as there’s no way you can stay awake on that . Tried it myself x

Maybe they’ll swap you to something else when your baby’s here ? X

I’m on quietapine at the mo 50mg and I find I can’t take more and look after my toddler at night. You can take quietapine during the day when someone’s to be around and you can catch up? But yeah my plan is to come off it before baby comes, going to see what my doc says 🤞. Good luck!

I’m on 25mg and managed fine with nightfeeds with my DS 2 years ago. I had been on a much much larger dose pre pregnancy for around 10 years so lost the drowsiness once I reached lower dosages, maybe that made a difference, I’m not sure.
Due DC2 in 3 weeks and still on same dosage and having to get up with DS.
It’s most lieu one of these things that varies from person to person, have you discussed your concerns with your perinatal mental health team?
