Can you convince 6 days after ovulation?

Hello! I am currently using the app Flo to track my period and it predicted that I ovulated on the 9th of Feb and I had unprotected sex on the 14th, 15th and 16th (this was planned btw). I was curious at to whether anyone has conceived when they aren't in their fertile window? My app says I was fertile until the 11th, however obviously an app can't accurately guess without other factors and I'm not great on how to spot ovulation so I'm just assuming this was when I ovulated.

I also use the Flo app - started using it to track my periods once they returned earlier last year after breastfeeding DS2. Flo predicted I was ovulating on around the 7th Jan, had unprotected sex with DH on 13 Jan (naively thinking it would be fine 7 days prior to my period) and I’m now 9.5 weeks pregnant with DC3....so I’d say anything can happen!

It was 7 days before my period too. Now I'm 4 days late but I've had this before and somehow overthought myself into not getting my period!

Think I should pop to the shop for a pregnancy test tomorrow but I'm trying not to get my hopes up

I would say you can’t biologically conceive 6 days after ovulation but Flo could absolutely have mis-predicted your ovulation, particularly if you have erratic cycles. Best to do a test!

Ovia always miscalculated my ovulation days and until I got opks I worked out I ovulate 18-21 days after start of last period. Definitely possible Flo have it wrong. Good luck 🤞

Totally possible flo has got your ovulation wrong. None of these type of apps are particularly accurate as they are just based on averages. Once ovulation has occurred the egg will only last approximately 24 hours so very unlikely to get pregnant 6 days after you actually ovulated.

Thank you for all your responses, so nervous to do a test today!

We got pregnant using the Flo app. For the first couple of months trying we used ovulation sticks and tracked periods.
Found the flo app very accurate in estimating ovulation dates if your periods are regular and you log them accurately. Got pregnant in the third month without using ovulation sticks- just went by what the flo app said.

If you’re period’s late I reckon you ovulated late, so your fertile window will be a few days later than predicted. So there’s a chance you are pregnant, since this is when you DTD, but it’s also probably too soon for a test to show - if we assume you ovulated 7 days before AF is due, you’re now 11DPO. I’d wait a few days before testing, or go for an FRER.

I used Flo religiously and even after months of use the dates it said I ovulated didn't match up with the symptoms I logged.

Saying that though, I had my scan last week and it showed that I must have ovulated almost immediately after the end of my period, even though I thought I knew exactly when I ovulated due to symptoms tracking. The tech can get it wrong, but so can we! Hope the test comes back with the result you want :)
