This is my second baby and I am 5+1 I am exaggerating a little but I honestly feel like iv been hit by a bus!! I feel sick, exhausted and just want to lay in bed (which I cant because DD is 2.5)... I neverrrr felt like this with DD not even at the end everyone I talk to just says 'its probably a boy' 🧐🧐🧐 sounds like science to me 😂

Totally happens!
And each pregnancy is different.

Sorry! And congratulations btw Grin

HJWT · 25/02/2019 16:50

@gherkinpickle ahhh! I think I might go to bed when DH gets home!! It is such a weird feeling I don't feel like I need to sleep but I just feel so exhausted 😩 I HATE moaning to but that is all I have done today 😂

Yep, it totally happens! Both times with one, 1 boy, 1 girl. For sickness support, look her Pregnancy Sickness Support

BikeRunSki · 25/02/2019 16:54

“One” = “mine”.

DinoMamasaurus · 25/02/2019 16:55

Happened to me! First pregnancy I was all good till towards the end of week 7. This time 5+1 it hit me like a ton of bricks! :( Funnily enough I had a boy first time and a girl this time.

Congratulations, good luck and look after yourself!

derekthe1adyhamster · 25/02/2019 16:56

Pretty much from conception with DS2!

yodelsay · 25/02/2019 16:56

Twins??

Middlrm · 25/02/2019 16:59

I figured out I was pregnant with my son due to this I was 3 weeks past last period when it started lasted about 4 months ( sickness ) exhaustion never left.

Can’t imagine coping with a toddler.

The midwifes said it was a good sign I also met people that told me they didn’t even know they were pregnant first 5 months ... oh how I envied them.

Congratulations though and hope you don’t suffer for too long and yes nap 💤 as much as you can x x

CatSmize · 25/02/2019 16:59

Mine was (is) just like that! I'm now at 10w and hoping and praying that it'll all disappear by 12w.

I've been on MN for years and thought I knew a fair bit about pregnancy, babies, etc, but no one prepared me for this! I honestly thought I'd wake up feeling dodgy, run to the loo to be sick then spend the rest of the day basking in glowy pregnancy. I had no idea I'd be so nauseous all day long that I'd struggle to even work and spend every evening and weekend lying in bed with sheer exhaustion Confused

Tinyteatime · 25/02/2019 17:00

I felt sick before I’d missed my period with dc2 (he was a boy). And I thought It couldn’t get worse than I’d been with my dd. Hope it doesn’t linger!

Rtmhwales · 25/02/2019 17:00

Happened to me. When they did the blood tests for hCG levels/doubling, mine were through the roof early on (think 18,000 beginning of week 5). The clinician said with numbers those high she suspected twins. I ended up with HG but a lovely (singular) DS thank god.

HJWT · 25/02/2019 17:14

@yodelsay oh god I hope not 😬

Hi I’m currently just over 7 weeks and been feeling awful for last few weeks. Like you said it literally feels like I’ve been hit by a bus, I don’t really feel tired like I need to nap but more just like I don’t have an ounce of energy to even move. I had my hcg levels checked at 5+4 and they were over 22000 which my gp is said is really high so I’m guessing that’s why I feel so bad. Defo only one baby tho as had an early scan last week x

HJWT · 25/02/2019 18:59

@Lisalou88 ahh welcome to the lovely club 😂 I have another early scan wed as couldn't see anything last week! Im guessing with the way I feel the baby will defo of grown 🤨 hope you start to feel better soon 💕

Yep. I had ivf so my dates were exact to the day. At 5 weeks 3 days I felt nauseous and was exhausted.

Didiplanthis · 25/02/2019 19:05

I felt like that and started being sick before I missed a period. I had twins !!

ColdCrumpetsandButter · 25/02/2019 19:14

Hell yeah! Whenever I got to 4weeks pregnant BAM I felt like I was on the worst boat ride ever. Felt so sick. Then when pregnant with number 2 and had number 1 to look after I wanted to hide under a rock and make it all stop.

DramaAlpaca · 25/02/2019 19:18

Me too with DC3. I started feeling horrible just after conception & had severe nausea by about 5 weeks. It was 9 weeks with DC1 & 12 weeks with DC2. All boys, btw.

instagland · 25/02/2019 19:29

I felt sick at 10dpo. Then continued to feel awful for the next four and a half months!

BillyAndTheSillies · 25/02/2019 20:09

7+2 with DC2 and genuinely feel like I've been hit by a bus!
It just feels harder because the first time around I could relax as soon as I got home from work and recover all weekend.
This time around I've got a very energetic three year old who doesn't always understand that I'm not feeling very well.
My nausea is off the charts and I've actually been physically sick this time around. Last time the nausea lasted until 18 weeks and I'm praying this finishes sooner this time!!

NearlySchoolTimeAgain · 25/02/2019 20:11

I did a pg test 5 days early as I felt so exhausted.

I slept with DS1 for 2-3 hours each lunch and then from 7pm onwards each night. I was still bf which didn’t help.
