Mirena removal

Hi guys.

I had the Mirena coil removed on the 22/02 after 18 months. I am now 3 days post removal and I have woken up this morning with really bad cramps and backache. It feels a little better when laying on my back but as soon as I turn on my side the cramping starts up almost immediately. I have little bleeding, more spotting if anything.

I had unprotected sex the day prior to removal but if I was pregnant I wouldn't be expecting any symptoms after 4 days would I?

Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Thanks for your help

When I had my coil removed (not Mirena) they asked me the last time I had intercourse to check there wasn't a chance I could become pregnant at that time (might be different if you actually wanted to be)

I imagine the cramps and backache are down to the removal, not a pregnancy. Would be very early for symptoms. I didn't get backache until about 10 weeks.
