Any 42 weekers around?

FTM and due to be induced today.

Had what I thought was a bloody show yesterday but no contractions.

Feeling alone and crappy, like I’ve failed not having a baby on time. It’s also making me dislike the baby right now which I know is horrid.

Any other 42 weekers around?

Not 42 but 41.5! I think it's meant to be normal to go over with your first and I am in same boat. I guess the good thing is it's had a great start of growing strong before it appears! Hope your induction goes ok, I have mine booked for Wednesday. Good luck

41+3 here. Went 17 days over with first so fully expecting over 42 again. I did have some cramps but think it may be just wind. Induction is a choice. I said no first time and am again this time. Do what's right for you!

I think they do scare you into having an induction although I don’t think this baby would have come out unassisted I was scared that if anything was to happen I’d never forgive myself (although I’m aware the stats are still low)...

I’ve had the 24 hour pessary and my cervix is still too long. I’ve got the first 6 hour pessary in but the midwife reckons I’ll need another before we can break my waters but that will take me until at least 2am so im not sure if I can wait until morning for them to break them?
