7 weeks pregnant and upset stomach

I’ve eaten out today, only vegetarian food though, and an hour later I got a very upset stomach (diarrhoea). This seems to happen after almost every meal out. After a long trip to the bathroom it stopped. Should I be worried? This seems to happen after every meal out these days and I don’t remember it happening in my first pregnancy, we used to go on holidays and eat out a lot.

I had some diarrhoea around this time of my pregnancy (now 10 weeks). I still get it occasionally, interspersed with constipation. It's a mixture of hormonal changes as well as things in your tummy moving around as well. Hopefully it will settle for you soon xx

Ah, thank you @Infb, that’s a bit reassuring

@totallyhonest I think as well your tastes can completely change in pregnancy, to add the food aversions you might experience! I know I have been like that. It might just be when you eat out it's things that are a bit more unusual than your normal diet/richer foods etc that contribute to the diarrhoea x

Hormones as infb said, tis disconcerting at the time.

This was my first sign of pregnancy. Diarrhea after each meal for nearly five weeks. Doctors weren't concerned. As soon as that stopped though, HG kicked in. Fingers crossed you don't end up with that.

Thank you ladies, that is definitely very reassuring.

Wish you well in your pregnancies xx
