Breathlessness

I'm 30+6 weeks and since I got up this morning I've been really breathless. I had to lie down as felt a bit faint after my shower. I feel a bit sick too and have a slight headache too. Is breathlessness anything to worry about or does it sound normal? I can't seem to get rid of it even moving around.

Thanks

Could be the baby is high up or it could also be a sign that your iron is a little low! I had these symptoms when my iron dropped which was around 30 weeks aswell and they just popped me on some iron tablets and told me to start re taking folic acid again and since Iv started to feel loads better.
Hope you feel better soon!

I had this.

At first I thought it was a combination of asthma and the baby’s position but turns out it’s a symptom of low iron. My iron levels were ok at 28 weeks, they then dropped so I got given iron tablets and it went away.

Maybe see if your iron levels are ok?

Currently signed off from work due to this! GP advised it’s due to baby position and sizing, all very normal. Although it doesn’t feel normal when out of breath from putting mascara on or getting milk from the fridge Shock.
