Is it normal to find out this early?

My period is due on the 27th/28th of Feb and I took a pregnancy test last night 5-6 days before my period is due.
I used a clear blue digital test which said to use fmu but being impatient as I am I drank a lot of water and took a test in the evening which quickly came back as positive 1-2 weeks. I was half expecting it to say not pregnant because I was testing so early.

My boobs having been aching and they’re huge already. My partner joked about there being twins and that’s why I’ve felt pregnant so early.
When pregnant witn my 3yo I didn’t feel any different til at least 2 weeks after my missed period.

I know it is probably normal it’s just exciting to think about. Has anyone else ever found out this early? I wish I’d waited because pregnancies are long enough now this will feel even longer!!

I got a BFP 3 days before AF was due, and took it after feeling weird the day before.

Now 10weeks but have had an early scan and there’s definitely only one in there! It has been the longest wait of my life though, definitely wouldn’t test so early in the future.

I had a positive 4 days before I was due and here I am 31 weeks and somewhat resembling a small whale :)

Yup found out super early with number 2 - god it felt long!! Have of course repeated my early testing errors am now 6 weeks pregnant with number 3 and have known since about 4 days before period due. Is it October yet....!?

My colleague took a test a week before AF was due as she just “knew” and it was a strong positive. She did only have a singleton though but it was her third DC.

I took a test the day before AF was due as I felt suspiciously fine. I usually have the most horrendous PMS symptoms the week before my period and I had none.

Yep this happened me with my first. 4/5 days before AF. Congratulations

As it was a CB digital you used I’d actually be asking if your last period was a ‘proper’ period and not implantation bleeding. CBD are not particularly sensitive and many women don’t get positive results on them till after their period is late. As it is showing 1-2 you are actually 3-4 weeks because it measures from conception date not LMP!!

@Rememberallball I did think this at one point but my last period was really really heavy. I was on holiday at the time and completely wiped out by it! I would imagine implantation bleeding to be a lot lighter?

Yes. With the his baby I had a + test 4/5 days before period was due. I know exactly when I conceived too, so know I didn't ovulate early. With my first I had to wait til 18dpo for BFP. I have 26 day cycles though, do that may make a difference.

I took a Frer 3 days before my AF was due on the 17 and got this .
2 days later did aCB digital date and got the second picture.
Full on nausea, huge very sore boobs. We are all different, my DP keeps joking there’s more than one as so strong, but won’t know until my early test on the 12th March
