I have two children
Eldest is 16
Youngest is 12
Would it be unreasonable to bring another baby into our world with these age gaps

My siblings are 11-16 years older than me. I'd probably have preferred some closer in age but it's done me no major long term harm! Being the youngest also brought some benefits too.

If the baby is cared for and loved dearly, what does a sibling age gap matter? Go for it if it's what you want :)
I have friends with much younger siblings and they have brilliant relationships.
I don't have any siblings myself but my stepbrothers and stepsisters are between 5 and 20 years older than me and we have a great relationship.

DSC are 29 and 25, DH and I are expecting twins in the autumn. We’ll have some very happy older siblings who are independent and not in need of our daily input (they know we are expecting!) Our impending babies will be a lot closer in age to their nieces and nephews than their siblings!!
