ICP - Bile levels

Hi ladies - wondered if anyone had any experience...

I'm 25 weeks and been insanely itchy, mainly my hands and feet, worse at night.

Spoke to the dr, had some blood tests and for the results today. Apparently my bile levels are slightly elevated at 12 (dr said 10 was normal) but she wasn't concerned.

I was reading the IPC support website and it seemed to suggest that anything over 10 was a symptom of IPC...?

Any thoughts/advice on next steps/suggestions of how to deal with the symptoms?!

Hi Ryan , I have just been diagnosed with ICP and I am 14 weeks pregnant with twins . My levels are 16 . I am on Urso and think I will be for the rest of my pregnancy . I would ask for another blood test . Sending you lots of hugs . It’s horrible that itching isn’t it . Do you have any other symptoms ? xxx

Itching is driving me mental. Am with the midwife next week so will talk to her then...in the mean time I need to cut all my nails off again so I can't scratch as much (you'd never have thought fast growing nails in pregnancy would be a bad thing!!)

I would ask to be retested. They should monitor you though I know some people have to fight for this. I did, I would get retested as it can rise rapidly.
