Sharp right side pain

Hello everyone
Last night I had a very sharp pain on my left side (where ovaries are) almost like a very sharp period pain - was even hard to move.

It woke me up and lasted 5 minutes - I then changed position and put a hot water bottle and fell asleep again.

Woke up feeling fine actually.

I am 14+ weeks with twins. Have you had any similar experiences? Is this the round ligament pain or might be more serious- shall I check with doctor?

I had something similar with my first at around 16 weeks. I saw a doctor as I was anxious during that pregnancy and all was fine. It was just the ligaments stretching.
However if you are concerned I would go to the doctor/midwife to put your mind at ease. x

Sounds like ligament pain, but if you're concerned then call your midwife. Also make sure you're not putting hot water bottles directly on your bump :)

I would be your bowels maybe? Mine played. Havoc when I was pregnant.

Agree with @Spam88. I had crazy ligament pains! Was sooooo sore.

Thank you all spoke to midwife she said its a muscle pain related to ligament pains and I just need loads of rest
