Faint Positive Pregnancy Test

So my last period would’ve been about mid January? (I’m rubbish with remembering)
My and my other half were trying to conceive for about 6 months prior with no luck, so I started the pill and booked in the the implant to be fitted (5th March)
Monday I was very emotional, crying over nothing. My boobs hurt, I was cramping. It was the tears that made me question possibly being pregnant.
I took 3 tests Wednesday morning, 2 came back with very faint lines. And one came back 1-2 weeks pregnant. I rang up my doctors and they booked me in with a midwife (no bloods or urine tests?!)
I did another test this morning (Friday) and it’s still very faint positive.
I’m worrying that the first time they’ll confirm my pregnancy is with a scan? What if the tests were wrong and there will be nothing there??
And when should I test again for a darker positive line?

This is this mornings test.
I see a faint line still, or am i just going crazy and there’s actually nothing there and the clear blue digital is wrong?
Has anyone else been driven mad like this 😂

Looks like you're pregnant! I think everyone worries before the scan. Keep testing, I imagine they'll get darker quickly

CaseofEllen · 22/02/2019 05:57

It does look like you're pregnant! Congratulations! Thanks

Can I ask why you and DP stopped TTC after 6 months?

It is very scary to be pregnant and have to wait until 12 weeks to get it confirmed but also standard practise. If you've had a positive home pregnancy test the Doctor won't test.

Good luck xx

We had stopped trying to conceive as we had found our forever home 😊 our new home became top priority for us, and every thing went into this. I have a little boy already, 7, and my other half has a little girl, 8, so making sure those two monsters got settled in and happy were a big thing too.

I just worry that the dates aren’t right that I’m further along than I think. When I was pregnant with my son I went for my “12 week scan” turned out I was 27 weeks! But what will be will be ❤️

Oh wow! Congratulations on your home and your BFP Thanks

It is so worrying until that first scan isn't it but you're right, what will be will be! Hopefully dates are far out for you but if they are then at least a plan can be put into place xx

Thank you very much. I’ll be updating in here when I have some more to update. More for my own logging if anything ❤️❤️

So the top 3 are Wednesday, then 2 Friday (am & pm) and the one on the side is Sunday (am).
Is it just different brands showing darker? Or are my hcg levels rising?
What do you think?

Congratulations - faint positives are extremely rare and to get multiple is highly unlikely. They will take blood and urine at your first midwife appointment, don't worry. I also paid for a private scan at 7 weeks as I was also anxious and unconvinced - I took 14 pregnancy tests!

Everything crossed for you.

JBuck92 · 24/02/2019 07:58

Thank you for your reassurance x

So the top one was done at about 5am this morning, it’s so faint. The bottom one was done about 8am this morning and come up darker.
I thought fmu was meant to be stronger?
I’m just over 4 weeks by my calculations (since first day of last period)
I know I’ve got a few weeks to wait until booking appt, does anyone have advice have to stop worrying and make time go quicker 😂

@JBuck92 if you can, book yourself an early scan. You can book them privately, they cost about £50/£70 where I am but can be done from 7 to weeks x

Smurf123 · 25/02/2019 09:08

I always got my strongest positives in the evening not worth fmu..,not sure why.
Congratulations Thanks

JBuck92 · 25/02/2019 09:39

Thank you all. Yeah it’s £90 for an early scan, will probs book onto one for my own peace of mind xxx

These were my tests that I took after having a small bleed, my last period was 20th Jan and I'm 5+3 weeks (baby measuring 6) die end Oct, so if the start of your last period was middle of Jan you will probably be around 6 weeks? but the clear blue should say 3+ xx
