Positive FRER and bleeding - HELP

We’ve been trying since August 2018 and this month it just felt right/like we’d finally ‘done it’. I tested at 10/11dpo on FRER and got a line on both. Started spotting/bleeding last night and went to doctor. Doc told me it could be normal or could be a very early MC. Anyone experienced this? She told me not to test for another month but the suspense is killing me! Any input would be great 👌🏽👌🏽

I'd test again when the bleeding has stopped (a month?! Who was she kidding??). But she was right, it could go either way... and there isn't anything that anyone could do to ensure it's viable at this stage...

I got a positive test last weekend and had a heavy, bright red bleed almost straight after. I was convinced it was a chemical but it stopped and there’s been nothing else. I’ve done two more tests, the frer had a stronger line than the first time and last night after drinking water all day I got 2-3 weeks on a digital. Don’t give up hope!! And definitely test again in a couple of days ☺️

I had this with my second pregnancy. This was after my first where I didn’t have any bleeding from the month before I conceived until after the birth of my daughter. Was convinced with the second pregnancy that any bleeding was a bad sign, but despite my bleeding on and off for 20 weeks, DD2 was born quite usually after an otherwise uneventful pregnancy at 39+4. No explanation was ever found for the bleeding either. Good luck!

I'd be peeing on FRERs daily to check the line progression and doing Clear Blue digis weekly to see if they go up. If so, I'd be getting an early scan at an EPU at 7 weeks. Your doctor has clearly never been desperate for a baby.

I'd give it a week then re-test.
You can get false positive readings for a while after a loss - so no point testing too soon as that might get your hopes up, but bleeding can be absolutely fine.
How far along are you now?

It is a horrible waiting game and does not get any easier I'm afraid to say!

Thanks everyone for your support! Noticed a massive typo in previous post she said not to test for a week not a month!! She said that the HGC hormone can stay in your system for 5 days. I cracked already and tested and line is darker than my FMU test at 5am today (I know I’m a nutter, but spare test was on the top of the loo and had a moment of weakness). Will keep you all updated. Bleeding appears to have stopped so that’s promising too! Thanks
