I am 35 weeks. I just don't feel at myself I feel sick but not like vomiting sick just a sucky feeling. My hands and ankles are swollen. I'm having the shivers now and again and I have pains all over my body. I feel pressure down low sometimes aswell. Am I going into labour or what is wrong with me?

Can you get checked out? Swollen ankles and hands can be normal but could be a sign of something more sinister. Maybe ring triage for reassurance?

Wellit · 20/02/2019 21:42

I would get checked i can't remember exactly but what you say got me thinking about preeclampsia

Dyingforchocolate · 20/02/2019 21:43

Agree with pp get checked out as swelling can be a sign of preeclampsia x

I had that with my second later in pregnancy and it was nothing but they took the possibility of pre eclampsia very seriously so try not to worry but definitely get it checked out by a professional.

Let us know how you get on op

@Wellit hi. I freaked out today whenever I seen flashes going across my eyes so I rang triage and couldn't get threw to them all day. So just went over and they done baby's heartbeat trace and took bloods and urine and sent them away and told me they will ring 2moro if there is anything wrong. And if not they won't ring at all. The midwife also done different things with my eyes and stuff and checked the swellen in my legs and hands and never mentioned anything about them so I just assumed everything was ok. Thanks for all your reply's x

Hope you get answers soon! I wonder if it could be diabetes? I was worried about this when I was pregnant, I amended my diet though and thankfully I passed the test so didn't need diabetic medication thankfully! Good luck
