Feeling baby at 18 weeks

Hello all!

I am 18 weeks tomorrow and I can feel something centre of my bump, right at the back. Could this be baby prodding/pushing on me?

I've heard that with your first you probably won't feel anything until 20 weeks and when you do it will just be a flutter?

I’m convinced this isn't a growing pain bc it's just in a small area and happens on and off! Grin

I felt mine move for the first time at about 18 weeks! Felt like bubbles for me. Congratulations!

Yeah. I felt my first at about 16 weeks or so. I think a lot of it is the luck of the exact location of baby, angles, etc.

I definitely felt mine by 18 weeks, lots of people told me it couldn't be baby and it was gas but it was absolutely baby haha

CosyToast · 20/02/2019 21:48

Just checked my calendar and I would have been 16 weeks and 3 days, so I definitely think it could be baby!

I felt like a twitchy muscle where there was no muscle around 17 weeks I think. You know what wind feels like after first trimester bloating I'm sure 😂 so if it doesn't feel like that I'd go for it being baby. Yay!

I'm 16 weeks and can feel mine sometimes. When our midwife checked the heartbeat on Monday she said it's a very active baby (it's movements could be heard) so she said that was definitely what I was feeling.

Yes! I felt my second at 15 weeks - his arm or foot was literally whizzing back and forth across my uterus and 3-4 days, he must have moved then as didn't feel him for another 10 days ... lovely though

My first I was around 17-18 weeks by 21 weeks she was whizzing around like I was a washing machine lol

I can feel it every day now - I'm 18+5 x

Jess7cw · 04/03/2019 17:39

Yes! Feel mine every so often and I’m 18+3

Yeah definitely, I’ve been feeling mine since somewhere between 17 and 18 weeks Smile
