hi all

I found out i was pregnant on sat. started getting cramps on the sunday on and off today is now wednesday and since 6pm last night i have had constant cramps and back pain but no bleeding. Has anyone experienced this before in their early pregnancy and go on to have a live birth?

thanks

At the start of pregnancy, you'll experience what feels very similar to period cramps. In fact, I thought I was going to come on my period so I held off testing. Once I researched it, I realised it's very normal.

Thank you for reassuring me bit been going out of mind a little bit as the only person who knows is my husband so haven’t told any family or friends yet so felt I had no one to talk to about it, it was so bad last night I had to have a hot water bottle it is more settled today though fingers crossed it all okay thank you

Careful with the hot water bottle. High heat in the abdomen in early pregnancy can cause problems Thanks

@Danifew I'm exactly the same as you. I found out on Saturday and I had really bad gas, burping all the time. I got cramps on Sunday and they were worse on Monday, but no bleeding. I had cramps again yesterday but not as bad.

I think for me, some of it is down to bloating/gas making it feel like cramps. As PP said, cramps are normal in early pregnancy.

The cramps used to wake me up in the middle of the night. I think the last time I had them was at about 8/9 weeks?? Everyone is different, but it's a classic early pregnancy symptom.

I’ve had them on and off since about 5 weeks and I’m now 10. They haven’t been bad enough I wanted a hot water bottle but They are definatly noticeable
