Dear mommies,

I'm currently on my first trimester, expecting my first child :) I can't tell you how excited i am! Lately I've been having regular heartburn when I sleep at night. I didn't have such problem before my pregnancy. I'm just worried if its contributing to the health of my baby.
May I know if this is normal for new mothers? Is there anything i can do about it?

Can my kind mommies help me out please. Thanks love.

It’s totally normal! I had it in first trimester and it came back with a vengeance in 3Rd trimester. I took Rennies which helped a bit. They taste nicer than gaviscon imo.

Yep, I had terrible heartburn whole pregnancy. The good news is that it goes away the instant you give birth! If it's really bad and not manageable with Gaviscon etc, talk to your midwife about getting Ranitidine.
