I am 21+4 weeks pregnant with first and I think that I am having braxton Hicks!!!!!!!!!

Can you get them this early??
My tummy keeps going relly tight and hard, it's not painful but quite uncomforatble. It feels like when you've been to the gym and done some stomach crunches then are sore for a couple of days after!!

I'd call your midwifery team and ask them. If in doubt- check it out. I am sorry I can't really offer much advice- I am a first timer !!

Thank You Alfie72, I just got back from the maternity home, had some tests done, but everything seems ok, so the doctor said.

xx

glad that you seem ok hun

i cant really help much as i am on my first baby so all of this is new to me also

Eddas · 05/07/2007 23:33

hiya, glad all is ok. I had bh all the way through pg with dc 2. No discharge but i believe it is fairly common to have discharge and if you've seen a doc it should be ok.

Any odd twinges etc in a pg make you worry, try not too

Alfie72 · 06/07/2007 12:58

Glad to hear your postive news !! It's scary business sometimes being a human incubator isn't it ?

GoodGollyMissMolly · 06/07/2007 13:47

Thank you all for your kind words. Its good to know that I am not the only one who worries about every little twinge.

Feel loads better now, the doc at the mat hosp was really nice and kind with a super lovely bedside manner, I hope hes on duty when I go in to give birth, LOL
