I’ve read that tall people carry narrow and small. I’ve also read that slim people carry small. I’ve also read that if first baby, the bump will be small and go unnoticed for a while.

BUT I am carrying my first, I am 5.9 and I am slim (size 10) and I am carrying wide!! I look way more pregnant than 17 weeks! And I looked pregnant almost straight away???

Everyone's different, when my best friend and I were pregnant at the same time (similar build before) you would have put us at months apart, not weeks!

I’m 5’11, was a 10-12, I’m all torso...expecting my first and I’m huge at 28 weeks, measuring 3 weeks ahead. So no, that’s just not true for everyone!

Everyone carries differently. I had very small bumps both times, but also had small babies (5lb10oz and 6lb).

I’m 5’9 and was a size 6 pre DD1, my bump measured at 45 weeks when I gave birth at 41 weeks, from about 32 weeks I was massive with her, she was 7lb14.

I'm relatively tall (5'8) and slim (size8/10). I started showing from week 12 - my midwife told me this is likely because I'm tall and slim. Everyone is different and so long as you're healthily gaining weight, there's nothing to worry about 😊
