Gender prediction on scan?

I get my 16 week gender scan on Sunday. Any last guesses on team blue or pink with my 13+5 wriggly baby? 💕

Well it could be either sex but it's preference for stereotyped colours when old enough to make a choice depends on several things

@SparklySneakers I said gender just as that's what the scan I've booked in for is called, a gender scan.

Can I ask other all reasons why people think boy? Do you see a nub? Thanks !

So curious as I've had all girl guesses in the past and I'm starting to set my little heart on a girl now x

There's a group on Facebook who seem to be very good at predicting the sex of a baby from scan photos.
Search 'the gender detectives' why people don't understand the different between gender and sex I still don't know, but regardless of their ignorance to that side of things and insistence that pink is for girls and blue is for boys, they do seem to do a good job at guessing from nub theory.

I didn't want to get into a debate about the whole 'sex/ gender' thing as I know from a previous post that people can be very picky about it. Obviously I understand it's the babies sex but I only said gender as the scan I'm having is called a Baby Bond Gender scan

If your know the correct terminology and don't want people to comment on sex vs gender then just use the correct one. This is your 6th thread on this now!

Again this thread wasn't for a debate. If people are really that annoyed I'd rather they just didn't comment on this. Jeez 😴

I’m with you OP, completely understand people wanting to make their point about sex/gender... but you’ve literally called it that because it’s the exact name of the scan you’ve booked.

I’m beginning to cringe when I see this on every single thread similar to this. In fact I’m beginning to think people actually search the words gender & sex on here just to correct people.

I have no idea if you’re having a boy or girl, I haven’t mastered this nub theory. But just wanted to say congrats on your pregnancy and don’t let this sex\gender debate piss on your bonfire. Best of luck

Okay I didn’t read this comment properly before I get flamed, but in the OPs defence she has literally used the exact name of the scan she’s arranged. It’s an exciting time for people and I just think everyone jumps onto the error so quickly.

I will learn to read comments properly before commenting tho!

I feel like it's a joke I have to justify myself every time a comment is made about the sex/gender thing.
I simply said 'gender' because the scan I booked is called a 'gender scan' if people have a problem with that then I'd hate to hear about the bigger problems in life..

I don't know who's keeping tab on my threads but I've only made a few about my scan.. asking what people thought of baby being girl or boy.

Don't worry about it some people are just weird and get all brave behind the screen. Hope the scan goes well, wxx
